I'm currently particularly interested in 3 major things:

  1. Onboarding new volunteers, e.g. through building on File:Five ways.pdf (my comments on the nice original flyer

  2. How we improve the visibility and offering of projects both in the sense of:
    1. comms, measuring impact and just generally helping people understand what we do. E.g. I'm interested in the ideas on UK monitoring programme and Magnus' tool here toollabs:wikidata-todo/country_stats.php, but also just making sure there's a page about projects we run, and how someone else might do something similar - making sure the things we have done are visible (e.g. at the moment the blog isn't searchable except externally!)
    2. and in terms of building projects, having a space to bat ideas around, etc. (ideally a space new volunteers might find and think 'oh, I could help with that!') e.g. whether some sort of Idea lab would work, and if committees could engage with it meta:Grants:IdeaLab/Idea_lab_idea_lab

Hi, I'm surprised that nobody from wikimedia has yet commented. Especially as there's now only 17 days before it begins and there needs to be approval before we can even begin organizing it properly and publicizing it. Can somebody provide some input?81.104.175.138 12:50, 11 February 2016 (GMT)
