Stationery

If you can't get stationery for free, I'd like to recommend Viking Direct. They used to be independent but now appear to have been taken over by Office Depot. But since the takeover their service has still been very good and their prices too. They will accept and promptly deliver even small orders. I think orders over £30 before VAT are delivered free. They have regular special promotions. I got a thing through today giving me a 10% discount and I get regular sales leaflets through the door too. I have no association with them other than being personally impressed as a customer. --Bodnotbod 18:30, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

I have used them as a supplier too, good for basic supplies and when the Post Office started repeatedly "losing" packages they were helpful in not quibbling over sending replacements. -- 06:43, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
I'm interested that you say basic supplies. What sorts of things don't they do that you feel an office would need? The catalogue is pretty hefty and stretches from paper clips to big, bulky furniture. The only thing I can think of that they don't do is desktop computers (they have laptops and monitors, though) but they do all the consumables associated with them. --Bodnotbod 17:58, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
I'd forgotten about the other stuff. I used to get the bigger stuff from more specialized stores by shopping around, they were not that competitive at that level. -- 18:37, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
