The previous week has seen the end of the fundraiser proper. All fundraiser-related mail has returned, and by the end of the week there was only one piece of post arriving with donations. There has been an increase in 'other' correspondence, for example payroll giving and press (particularly Monmouthpedia) enquiries. A fair increase in the amount of correspondence was, I believe, caused by the final tranches of 'get us over the finish line' emails and the direct debit mailouts.

There are 96 outstanding emails in the OTRS system. About 30 or so of these emails came in last night, when our nameserver apparently hiccuped slightly - as a result, people weren't able to log on to sign up for Gift Aid. These should be relatively simple to answer with an email that says "Could you try again now?", but slightly more verbose! There have been no real complaints, although there have been three comments from donors - two of us wanting us to stop collaborating with Cancer Research UK (anti-vivisectionists), and one wanting us to stop using paper mailouts, to save trees. There have also been a few questions from charities (and donors) asking how they can get an article - we'll push these over to volunteers if they're from possibly notable organisations, but if they're clearly inappropriate (eg, obviously failing A7) we will tell them we can't help and possibly point them to info-en@wikimedia.org. There is no backlog of fundraiser thankyou emails.
