Nothing much to report this week. The fundraiser is going very well. Since we last met we've been averaging over £1000 a day and have raised another £15k, for a total of about £25k (about £13k unrestricted). I have been experimenting with the suggested donations sizes and have concluded that £25 is better than £20 or £15 as the smallest suggested donation, so that is now what we are displaying. I also sent an email to the board reviewing statistics related to the £5 minimum donation, concluding that it was an improvement over a £1 minimum - please see that email for details. The appeal from Jimmy Wales will be going live in the next few days, unless something changes, and that should result in a massive increase in donations (last year it showed a seven-fold increase, although it may be a little less this year since we are starting from a higher level). My current forecast is that we will raise a total of £60k (£30k unrestricted), but I will be able to offer a better estimate once I see what the Jimmy appeal does. A key variable is when the WMF will end the fundraiser - I am expecting them to end in a few days after they reach their target, if they let it go on longer then we will raise more.
