Questions

Hi Richard, Thanks for your message. I split what I wrote into two questions, one about the point of giving information to the public body and one about potentially correcting it.--Peter cohen (talk) 17:24, 21 April 2012 (UTC)

Wikimedia UK Annual Conference 2012

I'm writing to let you know that WikiConference UK 2012 is coming up, on Saturday 12 May 2012, in London. Some time ago you indicated that you are interested in attending the event. If this is still the case please help us in planning for the event by registering at http://donate.wikimedia.org.uk/wikicon12. The conference will incorporate both presentations and talks about Wikipedia/Wikimedia, as well as Wikimedia UK's Annual General Meeting. It is free to attend. If you have any questions please contact Daria Cybulska on daria.cybulska@wikimedia.org.uk or 0207 065 0994. Hope to see you there! Richard Symonds (talk) 15:10, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Did you really just post this notice to yourself? LOL :D -- KTC (talk) 15:28, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
Yeah - I needed to remind myself to sign up too! Richard Symonds (talk) 15:33, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Registration for WikiConference

I' pretty sure I already did that :) can you just confirm my details are in there? --ErrantX (talk) 15:11, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

You may have done - but I don't know your full real name, and we don't keep records of which usernames people have - you'll need to drop me or Daria an email (or phone call etc) with your real name in to confirm your details with me :-) Richard Symonds (talk) 15:15, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
Ah, ok. I found an email confirmation in my archive that suggests I registered! Sorry, should have checked that first. (haha; my real name is far from a secret any more :P) --ErrantX (talk) 15:34, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

I think I will attend the conference, but I can't be absolutely sure until about 3 days before the actual conference - my apologies! Also, what's the situation on the membership fee payment front? Is internet transfer still an option? (Please reply on my talk page) Deryck Chan (talk) 20:22, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Membership fee by internet transfer

Is it the same bank account details as before? The online membership registration form doesn't give an option for alternative payment methods. Deryck Chan (talk) 16:58, 28 April 2012 (UTC)

I've now sent in my membership fee by internet transfer as detailed on Other Ways to Give. Please check that you have received payment, thanks. Deryck Chan (talk) 15:42, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

Block

Did I? :o Really sorry about that if that happened. The two edits to a candidate answer page that I reverted seemed either obvious accident, vandalism or spam. In both those two cases, I didn't block anyone. The IP I blocked for two hours today created a new page with a copy of previous version of a candidate answer. I would had thought a candidate would be answering on the existing pages and not copying a previous version of their answer to a completely new page and then doing nothing whatsoever with it... :S -- KTC (talk) 15:02, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
