Press coverage
  • All quiet
Britain Loves Wikipedia
  • Competition is now closed; upload form is still live until the end of the month but is now marking uploads as not eligible for the competition
  • Currently 490 photographs eligible for the competition, out of 582 total [2].
  • 300 photographs currently approved; 263 pending. Will be chasing museums to approve the rest of these by the end of the month.
  • V&A are having internal discussions about image resolutions today, which is delaying the transfer of photographs to Commons. Will hopefully be resolved soon so that the transfers can start going ahead by the end of the month.
Initiatives/Proposals/Wiki Takes Liverpool
  • In early planning stages
  • Currently proposed for 14 May. However I would be unable to attend it on that week. Would anyone else be able to help 'hands on' on that day - or should it be delayed?
  • A budget needs writing; would like to use some of the content generation funds from the WMF grant to support this.
