With female figures from all walks of life underrepresented on Wikipedia, this was a chance to put things right. The aim was to create and improve articles relating to female scientists and clinicians who deserve to recognition for their contribution to the science. The event began with basic Wikipedia training (it's really easy) followed by refreshments, before editing got under way. Experienced Wikipedians were on hand throughout to offer help and support.
